We met in Germany in 1963 while posted there with PPCLI. Serena and I worked at the bank on base and my now deceased husband Helmut and Wes were both corporals. The friendship has lasted all those years, the type of friendship that always felt comfortable even when many miles separated us over the years. Wes was always helpful and accepting of everyone. He will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace dear man!

Aunt Serena , Colin , Denice and Family , My heart goes out to you in such a great loss . Wes will truly be missed . I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort you and surround you with His love and to bring healing in your lives. The Military Community gives their condolences and Respect for such a great man Wes was, he is loved by many, and will be greatly missed. Just so you know, Wes gave me the best army haircut I have ever had , and Wes loved every minute , smiling ear to ear as he was cutting my hair . Love you Uncle Wes , missing you so much !

Wes was a great man and am so glad he was our neighbor and shared his love for me and my husband and my two children. wes was always sharing his goodies from his garden which he spent many hours in and was always out there talking to any one that went by. Rest in peace love you always wes and big hugs to serena xoxo
